FAQ

Should my installation site be level?

When building any structure, the ground should be level depending on what the land is like. If your building or carport is being installed on a concrete slab or pavement, it is likely it is already level. If it your building or carport is being installed on land or gravel, we suggest that it be as level and flat as possible. Having an unleveled site will delay installation process and cause trouble for installers.

Which payment methods do you accept?

To process your order on the website, we accept most credit and debit cards. Remaining balance is due upon delivery & installation and we accept personal checks, money orders, or cashiers check. No cash.

Who will install my new carport?

Installation is free which is provided by the manufacturer. The installers are a group of professionals who will arrive to your installation site. They will transport the materials to you and notify you by phone when they are near you within a reasonable time frame.

Do I need to be present during the entire installation?

No,it is not required for you to be there but you can be if you want to. We strongly advise you not to take the day off of work for the installation date because of the scheduled date and time is estimated. Weather, traffic, previous installation delays, and transportation mishaps can cause delay to the date.

How long will it take to install my carport?

Installation time depends on the size of your building. A simple carport top can take about an hour. Adding sides and accessories can take up to 4 hrs. Large all enclosed buildings can take one whole day. Ask your installers for a better time estimate, for they are the ones to install your carport or building.

What is the certification? Do I need it?

The carports have 14 Gauge 2 1/2in steel tubing, standard rebar anchoring, standard corner and center bracing. Carports are strong but if you live somewhere that often has extreme weather, like strong winds and heavy snowfall, you may need for your carport to be stronger. Having a certified carport would include12 Gauge 2 1/4in steel tubing, standard rebar anchoring, auger anchors, more bows, and braces on all legs and center creating more support. The certification is optional unless you need a permit. If you need a permit, you may also need to have to purchase the certification to meet the IBC code required in most counties. All counties are different check which your's to make sure.
